I vowed at the start of this year to expand my culinary repertoire beyond the few simple Italian dishes that I keep falling back on, and, well, it's going ok, but I could be doing more. I thought that a blog might force me to push the boat out a bit more.

Y'know, in order to satisfy my legions of ravening fans.

Hopefully, then, I'll be writing about stuff I cook, with recipes, and photos!, but also about food that other people cook for me, drink, sources, foody excursions etc. Mightn't be very fancy at first. Mightn't get very fancy at all.

We'll see how it goes.
